Don’t throw them away!

Are you bibliophile who has collected too many books and needs to weed some out?

Did you receive a book as a gift that you don’t want?

Did your child move away from home, leaving their entire collection of books unloved and unseen?

Do you have boxes of books gathering dust and mold in your basement?

Did your aunt die, leaving you the sole benefactor of thousands of dusty tomes?

Don’t throw them away! Here are people who want them…

Many creative ideas exist for liberating books from the bounds of homes that do not want them.  I have collected a list of websites, phone numbers, and charities that will gratefully accept your hunks of glue and paper for little more than the cost of shipping.

These books teach literacy in thirld world nations and in our own underprivileged neighborhoods, provide English reading material for soldiers overseas, give joy and escape to those who are sick, comfort the elderly in senior care homes, and much much more.  Please, before you toss a book, look at these sites and find the perfect match.
